We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Assembler to join our manufacturing team. As an Assembler, your work will directly impact the safety of individuals in construction, adventure, and various other industries, making it a rewarding and meaningful role.
The Soft Goods Assembler follows detailed instructions to connect various sewn items (sub-assemblies) and hardware to produce a variety of safety products such as harnesses. Key responsibilities include using hand tools, yardstick and ruler, reading and interpreting work orders, identifying the various components of an assembly, and performing quality checks on items coming for assembly.
This position requires frequent standing and walking throughout an 8-hour shift, up to 3.5 hours at a time; frequent lifting up to 10 pounds, occasional lifting up to 15 pounds; manual and finger dexterity to quickly move hands and arms to grasp, manipulate and assemble objects; and near vision to see details at close range.
A high school diploma or equivalent education is required.
